This is the very first squad I managed to produce. Back then, I did quite a lot to fix anything for this squad. Since then, the rest of the army became a victim to lazyness. Hence I only concentrated on shoulder pads and tabletop quality.

This pic is relatively old. (5-6 months)

You're WAY ahead of me in the shading department. These are some of the sharpest lookin Marines I've ever seen. I love your color scheme and the execution is brilliant.

Thanks, the army does truly attract its own fanbase at games - And I am very pleased with the end results..

The shading is very simple actually, I find colours such as Red easy to manipulate!

That helmet (forgot what its called, think its mrk4) features on the black templars upgrade sprue -but its only ONE helmet per sprue ;)

[link] has their marine chapter; Red scorpions, if you buy a squad - each marine comes with such a helmet. Sadly, forgeworld really has some spiced prices..

yeah...but they look awsome man!

but yes Warhammer 40k gets very pricey...
(ive spent around $350 for my 1600 pt necron army and I got my rule book free!)
